Support the motion with reasonable points which says Mothers are more responsible than Fathers. with explanations plzzzzzzz

Answers

Answer 1

Parents in households where both parents work full time report that mothers are doing more than fathers when it comes to managing their children's schedules and activities. Some 54% say the mother does more in this area, while 6% say the father does and 39% say parents share this responsibility about equally.

Answer 2
American motherhood has changed in many ways since Mother’s Day was first celebrated more than 100 years ago. Today’s moms are more educated than ever before. A majority of women with a young child are in the labor force, and more mothers are serving as their family’s sole or primary “breadwinner.” At the same time, the share of mothers who are stay-at-home moms has held steady in recent decades after falling precipitously in the 1970s and 1980s.

Here are some key findings about American mothers and motherhood from Pew Research Center reports: Women are more likely now to become mothers than they were a decade ago, and this is particularly the case among highly educated women. The share of women at the end of their childbearing years (ages 40 to 44) who had ever given birth was 86% in 2016, up from 80% in 2006. This was similar to the share who were mothers in the early 1990s.

Over the past 20 years, highly educated women have experienced particularly dramatic increases in motherhood. In 2014, 80% of women ages 40 to 44 with a Ph.D. or professional degree had given birth, compared with 65% in 1994.

The shares of women who were mothers also rose among those with bachelor’s or master’s degrees during this period, while rates of motherhood remained steady for women with less than a bachelor’s degree, at 88%.

2Women are becoming mothers later in life. The median age at which women become mothers in the U.S. is 26, up from 23 in 1994. While this change has been driven in part by declines in births to teens, delays in motherhood have continued among women in their 20s. In 1994, more than half (53%) of women in their early 40s had become mothers by age 24; by 2014, this share had fallen to 39%.

3Mothers are spending more time in the labor force than in the past, but also more time on child care. In 2016, moms spent around 25 hours a week on paid work, up from nine hours in 1965. At the same time, they spent 14 hours a week on child care, up from 10 hours a week in 1965. Dads, too, are spending more time on child care. (In addition to caring for their children, 12% of parents are also providing unpaid care for an adult. Among these parents, moms spend more time than dads on caregiving activities.)

Answer: i think it's a misplaced modifier

Explanation: I think it a misplaced modifier.  The 4th doesnt make sense because the sentence is a independent sentence. Meaning the it is a sentence on its own so when it says a fragment it means is it a dependent sentence when it isn't its a independent sentence. The 3rd one doesn't make sense because for the sentence to be wordy it has to have parts that don't matter to the main point of the sentence. The sentence it gave you has all words that matter to the sentence and without thm it wouldn't make sense. I don't think it is a run on sentence because a run on sentence normal has things you don't need to know inside a sentence like "I love to write papers I would write one every day if I had the time." if it wasn't a run on sentence it would just say the important detail like " I love to write papers".  Last I think its a misplaced modifier because the sentence is a awkwardly said. I think if the sentence was said without the misplaced modifier it would be like " The Apple Festival takes place in September it celebrates our towns most important crop". I think you have better reason on why it could be a misplaced modifier then the others. Sorry I wrote so much btw

Use ACTIVE to find three questions on the shorts story “up the slide”

Answers

All of these are informed by London's adventurous life, which included stints as a sailor and as a gold prospector in the Klondike region of Alaska, where there was a Gold Rush in the 1890s: the setting of ''Up the Slide''.

We know a few important things about the main character, Clay Dilham: he's young (seventeen) and arrogant. He's traveling with a man named Swanson to the village of Dawson to pick up mail. They've camped for the night when Clay boasts he'll be able to return with a sled full of firewood in just 30 minutes. This young whippersnapper is quite proud that he noticed a dead tree other travelers had overlooked. The only problem? It's high up on Moosehead Mountain, on a steep slide, or rock face, covered in snow.

No biggie, Clay thinks to himself. He knows the frozen river is below the tree and thinks that if he chops it down so it falls on the ice, the trunk will shatter into pieces: firewood ready-to-go. The older, more experienced Swanson just laughs at Clay's boldness. We have the sneaking suspicion that the opening of the story is a sign things won't turn out as planned, that this foreshadows, warning or indication, challenges to come.

Conflict: Man vs. Nature
As soon as Clay begins making his way up the slide, he realizes it's much steeper than he thought, and he regrets wearing slick-soled walrus-skin moccasins instead of more rugged footwear. He reaches a patch of snow-covered grass and keeps slipping on it. The only way he can make it through is by digging his bare hand into the snow and frozen dirt to slowly pull himself up. Finally, he makes it up to his tree, and chopping it down turns out to be the easiest part of the whole ordeal.

Clay looks at the way he came up the slide and realizes he'll just keep slipping and falling if he tries to climb back down. He starts to feel tired, but realizes if he stops moving, he'll freeze in the 30-below weather. Clay has underestimated some of the challenges nature can present and overestimated his ability to handle them. This makes ''Up the Slide'' a classic example of the literary conflict called man vs. nature.

Dignity of the human person in social media

Answers

Answer:

This is what I know....

Explanation:

Dignity is the right of a person to be valued and respected for their own sake, and to be treated ethically. It is of significance in morality, ethics, law and politics as an extension of the Enlightenment-era concepts of inherent, inalienable rights. The term may also be used to describe personal conduct, as in "behaving with dignity".

Answer:

1. Dignity that humans can acquire (or lose) through a sense of self-worth: I have dignity when I believe in my own worth. pride in oneself or a conscious sense of one's own worth as a human being living a meaningful life, worthy of the respect of others.

2. Catholic Church  proclaims that human life is sacred and that the dignity of the human person is  the foundation of a moral vision for society. This belief is the foundation of  all the principles of our social teaching.

3. In our society, human life is under  direct attack from abortion and euthanasia. The value of human life is being  threatened by cloning, embryonic stem cell research, and the use of the death  penalty.

4. The intentional targeting of civilians in war or terrorist attacks is always wrong. Catholic teaching also calls on us to work to avoid war. Nations must protect the right to life by finding increasingly effective ways to prevent conflicts and resolve them by peaceful means

5. We believe that every person is precious, that people are more important than things, and that the measure of every institution is whether it threatens or enhances the life and dignity of the human person.
