They show Whitman’s sociability and his interest in human nature. They reflect Whitman’s desire to share his love of the wilderness. They suggest that Whitman views all individuals as equals who should communicate with each other as such.
The lines indicate that Whitman is more interested in communicating with individuals than with society, as shown in the first answer option.
We can arrive at this answer because:
The lines show how the poet is not interested in large crowds and does not wish to establish anything that attracts them. That's because contact with these crowds is impersonal and doesn't go deep. However, the poet is interested in contacting individuals, as he wishes to take every man and woman on a hill walk. This is because the poet likes the deep, and specific contact that can only be established through personal contact between individuals.

If there was no conflict would there be a story to tell? What do you think?
Answer:
See below!
Explanation:
This is just my opinion, but assuming that you need a paragraph or so, I wrote out a full answer for you :)
I think that without a conflict, there is no story to tell. I believe this because the reason a story is a story, is because there is a reason for it's telling. Whether it is for entertianment, enrichment, or learning opportunities, a story has to have some kind of meaning for itself, and, in my opinion, this meaning is played through the conflict.
The conflict doesn't always have to be dramatic, or even be present(it can be past, or future), but without conflict, there is no meat in a story.
Of course, I can write a story without conflict. I can write a story about anything, for that matter. However, the prompt is asking if there would be a story to tell without a conflict, and I think there wouldn't be.
Education and learning moments aside, a story without conflict won't entertaining either! Without a conflict, there will be no rising action, falling action, or conclusion, which leaves nothing to a story!
Everyone's interpretation of what a "conflict" is can be different, but, in my opinion, there is no story to tell without a conflict involved.

Answer:

Think back to your first day of high school. Write about how you felt –nervous, excited, scared, sad, anxious, happy…. Did high school turn out to be what you expected? Did anything significant happen? (125 words -150 words)
Answer:
see below.
Explanation:
My first day of high school was difficult. 90 minute classes were painful, not what I as expecting. You see, they didn't give any breaks in between! No sane person could focus for that long. On top of that, I was alone because my bestfriend left me over the summer. I was extremely scared, anxious, and stressed out. During second period, I asked the only person who didn't hate me if I could hangout with her and her friend group during lunch. She agreed. That's when I saw my ex. Turns out, he was part of the group! I thought to myself it was okay, I could calmly fit in. But the people in the group just stared at me when I was introduced, and ignored me the rest of the time. Things were just getting worse as the day continued. It was unbelievably harsh for me on that day.
