do inpatient facilities treat patients who do not require a hospital stay ?

Answers

Answer:

While there’s a clear difference between an inpatient and an outpatient, there is a little bit of gray area as well. Occasionally, physicians will assign a patient observation status while they determine whether hospitalization is required. This period typically lasts for no more than 24 hours.

Also note that the location itself doesn’t define whether you’re an inpatient versus outpatient. It’s the duration of stay, not the type of establishment, that determines your status.Primary care physicians have traditionally been considered outpatient providers, while specialists are thought of as inpatient physicians. But that’s really an oversimplification, particularly when you consider that hospitalists bridge the gap by providing general medical care to inpatients. Effective care requires that doctors work together and effectively leverage health care technology, regardless of their specialties and settings.

Many physicians also divide their time between inpatient and outpatient services. OB/GYNs, for example, provide inpatient care when delivering babies and outpatient care when consulting with pregnant women during prenatal checkups.

Yeah so I started taking Psychology and I'm on here to just ask how the class is. Can someone please answer truthfully and not just come for points?
I will report you. :)

Answers

It depends what grade level, I took AP psychology. In my opinion, most of the actual content isn’t too hard to grasp (the only thing I had to really try for was the science based things such as synapses/neurotransmitters etc) but I took it in grade 11 so if you are in grade 12 there’s a chance you may have actually covered some of that stuff already if you took anatomy/biology. The challenging part of psychology is that there is a lot of material (especially for AP) and a lot of the language/terms are going to be new so unless you have prior knowledge you’ll have to make sure to stay on track. However, I really think it depend on your grade level because I have friends who have taken psychology 11/12 and it was no where near as much information as I had. Overall, I’d say that it’s pretty interesting, just a lot of information, and you have to actually understand what you memorize because there are a lot of questions/assignments that require you to apply your knowledge.

If you have any other specific questions I just lmk :)
